Born 1948 in Edinburgh, I lived in Prestonpans and practised arts, early, in Preston Lodge Secondary School.
I served a very precise engineering apprentiship with Ferranti Ltd., in Edinburgh.
As a marine engineer I've been around the world a few times and have seen some gorgeous scenery.
As a welder/supervisor ashore, all over UK and Europe, I've seen lovely sights
but in my estimation nowhere has scenery which compare to Scotland's Landscapes.
An accident in 1990 took me to Telford, Falmouth and Edinburgh Art and Design Colleges. Painting is the genre of art I find fascinating. Using Watercolours, oils, pastels and mixed medias are how I portray realistic Scottish Landscapes. These methods and skills learned produce in my estimation, beautiful Scottish landscapes.
