Having travelled the world as a marine engineer I've seen some beautiful sights but I assure you to
come home to Scotland's scenery is overwhelming.
When I roam Scotland, with my wee dog (Piper), it's easy finding beautiful Scottish Landscapes to paint : all we have to do is look around and appreciate what we're blessed with naturally.
All seasons have their own traits and atmosphere, these in their own right are gorgeous. Trips
around Scotland encourage me to sketch, photograph and paint; although the majority of my Scottish landscape paintings,
with mounting and framing are done in studio.
Spectacular atmospheric scenery in Scotland is part of our heritage and it would be foolish to
underestimate the beauty.
